The 7th grade will be hosting their bake sale at Holy Spirit School this Friday, March 12th at morning and lunch recesses. All items are 50cents each. Please help support the 7th grade class.

8th Grade Class Potluck

Baby Bottle Project

Baby Bottle Project

Holy Spirit School will participate in the Sacramento Life Center 2010 Baby Bottle Project. Each student received a baby bottle to take home on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010. Every day during Lent students are asked to put coins into their baby bottle. The filled bottles will be returned to school by March 24 to be sent back to the Life Center.

The Sacramento Life Center provides counseling, education and other help for pregnant moms and their families. Their goal is to empower pregnant women to choose LIFE for their pre-born children. Our school is participating as a Lenten service project and to encourage students and their families to talk about the sanctity of life and the need to protect all persons, no matter how fragile or small. Let us all ♫Go, Make a Difference.♫

May Crowning
Location: HSPS Convent Courtyard 9:00am

Description

May Crowning Convent Garden: Our annual May Crowning prayer service will be held on Friday, May 7th at 9:00am in the courtyard of the Holy Spirit Convent. The eighth grade class will be ministering this special occasion. Families are invited to attend. Eighth graders will wear dress clothes and bring graduation gowns for grad pictures at 10:30am. All other students should wear their uniform. All students are encouraged to bring cut flowers to put around the statue and their rosaries to honor the Virgin Mary.
