Land Park Garden Tour and TeaThe Land Park Garden Tour and Tea will be held on Saturday, May 1st from 10am to 4pm. The Garden Tour consists of 8 beautiful gardens in the Land Park area. Many of the gardens have been enhanced by local businesses such as The French Hen. Many of the gardens also have fabulous artwork created by our Holy Spirit Children. There are a variety of gardens being presented with some gardens emphasizing entertaining and outdoor living and other gardens emphasizing the green thumbs of their owners. In addition to the gardens, there is a boutique located at Holy Spirit Church where you can get a cup of coffee or a bottle of water and perhaps buy some new jewelry or whatever else strikes your fancy. Tickets for the Garden Tour are $20 dollars in advance ($15 for seniors) and $25 ($20 for seniors) on the day of the Tour. You may purchase advance tickets in the school office or on the day of the event at the Boutique at Holy Spirit Church.
Now if you really want to make this a special day, treat yourself to the Tea in addition to the Garden Tour. The Tea is held at noon on the day of the Garden Tour in one of the loveliest backyards in Land Park. Just imagine sitting down to a beautiful table set with fine china, sipping tea, eating sandwiches and sweets, and enjoying wonderful conversation in a gorgeous setting. Tickets sell quickly for the Tea so call Tracie Guillen soon at 446-5700 to reserve your space. The tickets are $40 ($35 for seniors) and include the Garden Tour. You may want to consider reserving a table of eight and inviting your friends to join you in this elegant event!

PLAY DAY ITINERARY
Dear Holy Spirit Parents and Students:
Our annual “Play Day” will be held on the school campus and students are to meet in their classrooms at 10:00am for attendance. Dismissal will be at 2:00pm. Extension will be available to those students enrolled in the program.
Complimentary lunch will be provided by the school, (hot-dogs, hamburgers, and Boca burgers.) Please return your lunch order to your teachers. If you are a volunteer, please remember to include your order with your child’s order.
We will have plenty of activities, from 3-legged races, cup stacking, bingo, water play and of course jump houses. The water activities are always very popular, but bathing suits will not be allowed. Please wear comfortable clothing that will not be ruined by water play. Also, no bare feet allowed except when in a jump-house or slide. Otherwise footwear such as flip-flops, water shoes, or crocs are recommended so that the children can easily slip on/off shoes.
Each class will also have a “snack” table. Please help your Room Parent with providing healthy snacks and juices/water for your table.
One additional note, eighth grade students are only allowed on campus/play day if their parent(s) have volunteered to work.
Thank you everyone.
