ATS Testing

Description

The Academic Talent Search Qualifying Exam will be offered at Holy Spirit School on Thurs., Feb. 16th at 8:30am. Students who take this test automatically qualify for the ATS Summer Program at Sac State. Though there is no obligation to apply, taking the test gives students the opportunity to attend challenging, unique and fun courses. ATS offers 4th-9th graders (as of Jan. 1, 2012) classes designed to accelerate learning in subject areas they enjoy.

The first step towards participating in ATS is taking this exam. Information sheets and sign-up forms will be sent home by the end of January. Please return the sign-up form to Jane in the school office if interested.

2nd Trimester Ends

Description

The second trimester ends Wednesday, February 29. Report Cards will be passed out and Honor Roll Assembly will be held on March 9, 2012.

Academic Decathlon
Location: CB High School 8:00am
When March 3, 2012
Description

The Academic Decathlon will have their annual competition on Saturday, March 3th. Please come and support our students.

The Opening Ceremony begins in the C.B. gym at 8:30 AM followed by the Logic Quiz and then the Individual Events. Following lunch the Super Quiz begins at 12:40 in the gym. The day ends with Mass at 2:00 and the Awards Ceremony at 3:00. The team would love to have you come and cheer for them. The afternoon is the best time to visit.

2nd trimester Report Card Day & Honor Roll

Second Trimester Honor Roll Assembly will be held on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 2:15pm.

2012/2013 Registration Day
Location: HSPS Gym 3:00 - 6:00
When April 24, 2012
Description

The Registration Day for the 2011/2011 school year will be held on Tuesday, April 24th between 3:00 – 6:00pm in the school gym.

All forms will be available on-line starting April 1.

Graduation Day / Night
Location: Brunch @ School 10:00 Mass @ Church 7:00
When June 1, 2012
Description

A Graduation Brunch and awards ceremony will be held in the school gym at 10:00am. Graduation Mass will be in the HS Church at 7:00pm on Friday, June 1, 2012 with a reception following for graduates and their families. We wish to congratulate the graduates and their families as they complete the first step of their education and move on to high school.

The youth choir will be singing at the graduation Mass at 7:00pm.
