            We are pleased to announce that the following former Holy Spirit School students earned special recognition from the Advanced Placement program at Christian Brothers High School based on 2008 exam results:

           

            Claire Taylor, a Holy Spirit School alumna from the Class of 2005.  Claire, a junior at Christian Brothers High School, has been selected as a national Merit Semi-Finalist.  The Semi-finalists represent the top 1% of high school students nationwide.

 

            Kelsey Sharp, Christopher Sylva, and Spencer Tierney—AP Scholars  Granted to

students who receive grades of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams on full-year courses (or the equivalent) 

            Amanda Delia and Erin Perry—AP Scholars With Distinction (Granted to students who receive an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on five or more of these exam on full-year courses (or the equivalent)

 

            These students have credited both Holy Spirit Parish School and Christian Brothers High School as the reasons for their recent success.  Congratulations to these  fine students and their families.

2005 Alumni News Update

Five young men, Holy Spirit Class of 2005 alumni, currently attending Jesuit have been inducted into Jesuit's chapter of the National Honor Society:
